Patient Rooms
We understand that comfort and safety are key to the success of your surgery and recovery so we offer hospital accommodations designed with that in mind. We do our best to keep medical equipment unobtrusively within reach, while emphasizing amenities like expansive windows, quality entertainment systems, visitor-friendly furniture, and ample cupboard space.
Surgical Suites
Midwest Surgical Hospital physicians enjoy the efficiency and convenience of our professionally designed operating arenas. Years of observations and recommendations have yielded ergonomically-based automation techniques and equipment designs that improve sterility, technical control, and procedure duration in these state of the art surgical suites.
Diagnostic Equipment
One of the ways Midwest Surgical Hospital helps reduce medical service costs is to host diagnostic equipment on site and maintain an expert staff of technical professionals. This eliminates the need for patients to attend more than one facility for imaging, diagnosis, and surgery, and allows surgeons the efficiency of evaluating your condition in the operating room.
Credentials
In 2011, Midwest Surgical Hospital received accreditation from AAAHC. Licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health, we are also Medicare certified. Our team of physicians and staff are recognized professionals with a proven record of successful work and commitment to patient care.
Paperless Office
Our hospital administration is conducted as a paperless office based on an advanced health care computing system. For some patients, nothing more than a signature of treatment consent is required upon arrival. Your information and records are transferred automatically to the Hospital from your physician's office to our system. Additionally, our nursing staff are equipped with state-of-the-art tablets upon which they record your status electronically while you are here.
Waiting Areas
Midwest Surgical Hospital is proud of the comfort and ambience offered by the design of our waiting areas. Inspired by the 1920's Hollywood era, everything from the fireplace to the light fixtures, the furniture to the fine art, was placed intentionally to make our visitors feel welcome. We hope you enjoy our selections of prairie-themed works from artists such as Grant Wood, Marc Bohne, William McCarthy, and David Schock.
Kitchen
Our team of chefs is on call in our professional kitchen facility to prepare gourmet meals from scratch. With a diverse range of fine foods including specialty tapas and homemade cherry pie, our menu is anything but "hospital food."
Parking
For the convenience of family and friends, a visitor parking lot is located in front of the building near the Recovery Care entrance.
Visiting Hours
Normal visiting hours are from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. The front door to the building is locked at 6:00 pm. To enter Recovery Care while the door is locked, press the intercom button at the east entrance door.
